Good News Everyone!

I've been a fan of Powershell for over a year now and am getting used to the concepts of scripting, as I don't have much experience in that area. I've read a couple of the Powershell books, including Windows Powershell: Step by Step by Ed Wilson and have found that the easiest way for me to learn is to be hands on and use it in the real world. One thing that has inspired me to share the wealth of Powershell is TechEd 2010. Everyone that I talked to that had attended this most recent TechEd mentioned that Powershell has become a driving force of Microsoft.

While watching the TechEd 2010 videos posted online, one phrase that was being repeated multiple times was that Microsoft is planning to provide 100% functionality to Powershell and only 85% to the GUI. I see that as a challenge and an opportunity. And being a competitive person, I'll be taking advantage of both.

That being said, I want to say thanks to two of the people who have helped me in my journey so far, Ed Wilson and Dmitry Sotnikov. Their blogs are listed on my blogroll to the right.
